Wednesday 19th April
This week saw the participants being joined by another Switch360 partner, Limitless Supplements and its co-founder and owner Mr Graeme Perry, and were introduced to the second of three session of the ‘Lifting For Life’ program held at the STRENGTH Gym in Al Quoz and conducted by the founder Chris Miller.
The Lifting for Life program comprises of two training elements, Lifting for Life and Fast & Furious which can be combined as desired. Lifting for Life is more about getting tone and definition in your muscle whilst Fast & Furious helps your heart & lungs work better so you don't get as tired by everyday life. Both elements combine to make your awesomeness shine through. We don't care if you want to have a six pack or just want to "feel a bit fitter" what's important to us is that you're happy with the results you're getting, that you're healthier on the inside as well as on the outside. We all come in different shapes and sizes what's important is how you feel about you.

Thursday 20th April
Thursday was the second session of 4 for our participants as they cranked up the resistance and power on through utilising the concept of indoor group cycle classes to increase fitness levels, burn calories and have fun doing so. We have progressed from individual AquaFit in a water filled pod to an indoor group cycles class utilising high energy music, cadence and resistance settings based on individual levels and the amazing and talented instructor Hoda Sawan, with FlyWheel Dubai at Burj Views in Downtown Dubai.
This is the workout that offers a chance to achieve something more, to step up onto a custom engineered bike, and ride as hard as you dare. An experience that lasts 45 or 60 minutes and includes climbs and descents, while working arms with weighted bars. It's an amazing escape that challenges your body and relaxes your mind. Our studios offer stadium-style seating, making every seat in the house a good one.

Friday 21st April
Today was the day our Switch360 Participants used the food source and produce that they selected from the Ripe Market session last week and took them to the Media One Hotel, and along with our Nutritionist Partner, Victoria Tipper, they were shown by the Executive Chef Giresh Babu ways to prepare and cook these into delicious and healthy meals. This was being showcased to enable them to cook meals for themselves rather than have them delivered as in Stage 2 of the project.
At Media One Hotel, they believe in doing things differently, so go along and check it out for yourselves. No fuss, no frills, just cool rooms, a great place for business meetings, lunches or after work chill out sessions. Located in the centre of the bustling Media City district, don’t expect anything standard inside this sleek and stylish hotel. Open spaces, modern designs and cool features make up the striking and ultra-trendy scene at Media One. Welcome to their funky new world.

Saturday 22nd April
Saturday saw the participants enjoy their second session with SEAYOU and progress from ground based Yoga to SUP (Stand Up Paddle board) Yoga at the Sofitel Hotel on the iconic man made land mass of the Palm Jumeirah.
SUP Yoga is ideal for anyone who wants to improve his strength and fitness, whilst working on his balance too! As we discovered.
This is a yoga class that is practiced on a Stand-Up Paddle board instead of a yoga mat. The class takes place on the calm waters of Palm Jumeirah instead of a traditional studio setting.
SUP Yoga can be practiced by beginners and experts alike. Benefits range from core conditioning, improved balance, mental focus and practice diversification.
